There is something sacred about standing at the doorway of a new year. Not rushing in.
Not dragging the old weight with you. But pausing… feeling… recognizing. As 2026 opens its arms, I keep thinking about her. I am reminded of the biblical story of “The woman with the issue of blood”. Twelve years of hiding. Twelve years of pain. Twelve years of pressing through shame, silence, exhaustion, and disappointment. Twelve years of believing something had to change — even if no one else could see it yet. And then one moment. One decision. One act of bold, quiet faith. She didn’t ask for permission.
She didn’t announce herself. She didn’t need the spotlight. She just reached. Its your time now to learn from her and do the same.
The Last 12 Months Were Not a Loss — They Were a Setup
As my pastor reminded us during our New Year’s Eve service last night, this is the year to come out of hiding and shine with global intent. That message landed deep in my spirit — because 2025 felt like hiding for so many of us. Not hiding because we were afraid. Hiding because we were being formed. Trust me, 2025 was not wasted. It was preparation. It was purposed. It was positioning. What if the last 12 months of your journey was a test before the miracle? I asked myself this as I reflected on the last 12 months before going to new years eve service last night to bring in the new year with intention, purpose and alignment with God’s plan. Faith comes by hearing and I needed to be fully present for the word I knew God was going to deliver in divine detail for 2026. For some like me, in 2025:
*You learned restraint.
*You learned discernment.
*You learned how to hear God more clearly than the noise.
*You learned how to survive without applause.
*You learned how to keep showing up when the results hadn’t caught up yet.
And now? Now is not the year to explain yourself. Now is not the year to shrink. Now is not the year to stay unseen.
2026 Is the Year of the Reach
Back to the lessons from the woman with the issue of blood. She didn’t need Jesus to call her name first.
She believed if I can just touch the hem. That’s the energy of 2026. Not forcing. Not proving. Not chasing. But activated faith with confident movement, and as for me with my soft girl strength that knows when to flow and when to stand firm. I am truly a girlie girl that desires to flow in it fully with impact. In that I say to you, this is the year you stop waiting to be picked and start positioning yourself to receive. This is the year you step out of the crowd with grace. This is the year you allow yourself to be seen — not for ego, but for impact. This is the year your healing becomes your testimony and your obedience becomes your overflow.
Know…You Are No Longer Hiding — You Are Shining
Coming out of hiding doesn’t mean becoming loud. It means becoming aligned. Aligned with purpose.
Aligned with intention. Aligned with divine timing. 2026 is asking you to shine globally, not geographically. Your influence is no longer limited to one room, one city, one season, or one version of you. You were prepared for this. You were shaped for this. You were covered for this. And just like the woman who touched the hem, when you move in bold, confident faith — virtue flows. Miracles happen.
Doors open. Blessings pour uncontrollably. Healing follows obedience. This is a revelation of truth for us all entering into 2026….a new year and new beginning.
